I will organize a session on "Emerging threats of Criminal Use of Information Hiding: Usage Scenarios and Detection Approaches" at the 16th International Workshop on Digital Forensics and Watermarking (IWDW2017), taking place in August in Magdeburg, Germany.
Background: The 16th International Workshop on Digital-forensics and Watermarking
(IWDW 2017) is a premier forum for researchers and practitioners working
on novel research, development and applications of digital watermarking
and forensics techniques for multimedia security.
Goal: The session will be organized jointly with the Europol EC3 initiative
CUING (Criminal Use of Information Hiding) and aims to bring together
academic and law-enforcement (LEA) related research, including outlooks, on
the application of steganography, covert channels, watermarking and
other forms of information hiding in the context of cybercrime.
