New Paper: Next-Generation Home Automation Systems

A new paper was published in the context of the Usability Day X in Dornbirn.

Abstract:
While for many years home automation (HA) used to be a niche market for technically minded home owners, chances are that HA will be in widespread use in the near future. There are a number of reasons for this prediction, some of which are elaborated in this article. By means of selected scenarios from ongoing projects we will illustrate how recent developments are guiding the future of HA domain.
